Mather+Stuart Powering Up
Mather+Stuart Power Solutions is increasing its network of service centres and investing in a fleet of brand-new equipment and delivery vehicles.
Following the acquisition by A-Plant, the network expansion comes on the back of new service centres in Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow, and will see Mather+Stuart Power Solutions open new locations in London, the East Midlands and the North East of England.
Paul Dennis, Managing Director at A-Plant commented: “Since A-Plant acquired Mather+Stuart last year there has been a period of rapid growth. We have invested more than £2million in equipment; meaning the Mather+Stuart fleet has more than doubled in size and is now over 1,800 generators, plus more than 140 hybrid units which makes it the largest hirer of hybrid power in the UK. Coupled with the comprehensive fuel management service, and expert cabling and distribution offering, Mather+Stuart offers a complete one-stop temporary power solution, all of which is underpinned by an experienced and highly knowledgeable team.”
Paul continued, “On top of the network and fleet expansion, we are growing the 24/7 mobile engineering team and the national call centre, plus we are investing in state-of-the-art delivery vehicles to add to the transport fleet. What’s more, we are developing a market leading telematics package that will be fitted to the generator fleet, allowing customers to track load levels, fuel status, engine diagnostics and much more, in real-time.”
