No. If you have been hiring from A-Plant on a regular basis, or you are considering it, it may be easier to open a monthly credit account. Or you can deal with us on a cash basis. Can I reserve my equipment?
Yes, equipment may be provisionally reserved in advance by telephone, email or in writing. Contact your local Mather+Stuart Service Centre or email us here. Every effort will be made to have equipment available for collection or delivered at a specified time.
How do I know if there’s a minimum hire period on an item I have hired?
All minimum hire periods are available in our Trade Catalogue, highlighted in a yellow box. Alternatively, call 0370 050 0797 and a member of our Customer Service team will assist you.
Am I responsible for the machine whilst it is on hire?
Yes, you are responsible for safe-keeping of the machinery you hire. If you do not have insurance for hired plant, you can add it to your household insurance for the hire period. Alternatively, we offer insurance against theft and damage at a rate of 15% of the hire rate (A-Guard insurance scheme).
