- Optimum cable routes to ensure safety.
- Any critical timescales which need to be met to ensure the smooth running of customers operations.
- Options for any back- up power which may be required to ensure any critical business systems are maintained as necessary.
- Options for delivery and site access, and the optimum positioning of the generator to help with convenient refuelling.
- Potential security issues.
A detailed installation risk assessment and method statement will then be developed which will control any site hazards and risks associated with the electrical works. Our team will also get an understanding of how you intend to manage fuel throughout your project to see if our fuel management services would be helpful.

When should I request a Site Survey?
It is never too early to arrange a site visit! Visiting your site early on in the planning process will allow our team to suggest many ways to add value to the project, by suggesting alternative products and specifications to provide a better solution.
It may be that you already have a site generator on hire from a different supplier, but you do not feel you are getting the best value possible or the power output is not sufficient. We can visit even if your project is already well underway to see if an alternative solution can be implemented and help solve existing power problems.

Who will complete the Site Survey?
Mather+Stuart has a network of qualified and certified electricians who are 17th and 18th edition qualified and are National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) approved. This level of expertise is a real benefit to customers and provides the reassurance that the work has been planned in accordance with the highest of safety standards which meet all current regulations.
What happens once the Site Survey is complete?
Once the survey is complete, we will send our proposal to your team, along with detailed costing. After an order has been made, we will then arrange delivery times and the equipment will be delivered to your project within the agreed timescales.
Our team provide a complete service and will install the generators on the day of delivery to ensure you have access to power as soon as possible. The power generation equipment, distribution board and cabling will be installed as per the risk assessment and method statement to ensure a setup which meets all your power needs.
The system will be tested on completion, including earthing tests, and you will then be provided with an Electrical Installation Certificate to provide reassurance and confidence that the system is safe and reliable.
